The West Bank Beer Festival

JULY 22

Location: NOLA Motorsports Park

Admission to the event gets you a souvenir tasting mug, unlimited pours from the 28 different participating breweries, and a photo op with real race cars. And if you are feeling like a daredevil, you can also drive a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche or Corvette on the on the race track. There will also be a kart track demo and live entertainment. Take part in New Orleans’ rich musical heritage at the annual Satchmo SummerFest, a multi-day jazz festival celebrating the life of Louis “Satchmo” Armstrong. Southern Decadence

Informally known as the “Gay Mardi Gras,” Southern Decadence is New Orleans’ largest LGBTQ event.  Most street party activities take place in the immediate area of the French Quarter, and the dance parties are in the clubs.
