When you walk into Royal Antiques, you will be amazed by all the great finds. The setup of the store’s antiques is unique; each room is set up as if you were in a room. Royal Antiques is a fifth-generation, family-owned business founded in 1899. The store carries pieces from both England and France and offers both Mid-Century modern pieces as well as Chinese antiques. Shipments arrive throughout the year. Royal Antiques specializes in integrating selections with contemporary designs. Their collections range from antique chandeliers and lighting to beautiful, old jewelry. M.S. Rau Antiques
M.S. Rau Antiques is an internationally known antique distributor and store widely known for their rare imported antiques, jewels, original paintings, and sculptures spanning from the 16th through the 21st century. Bill Rau is a fine art expert and third-generation owner of M.S. Rau Antiques. Antiques by brands such as Tiffany & Co., Paul Revere, and Fabergé can be found throughout the store, as well as pieces by artists such as Monet, Brueghel, and Rockwell. The store was opened in 1912 and is now 25,000 square feet. Each piece in the shop is handpicked and documented by Bill. M.S. Rau Antiques also implements a “go green” with more green efficient ways to save energy, such as motion sensor lighting. In addition to this endeavor, Bill Rau has a giving back foundation called the Rau for Art Foundation, which helps young artists and school art programs succeed.

Keil’s Antiques
Keil’s Antiques has been family-owned and operated since 1899. Founder Hermina Keil passed it down to her granddaughter, Andree Keil Moss, who now runs the shop with her son, Peter Moss. The store sits in the heart of the French quarter on Royal Street and has three floors. Keil’s antiques carries English, French, and Continental items from the 18th and 19th century.

Moss Antiques
Moss Antiques sits on Royal Street in the French Quarter and is one of three antique stores owned by the Moss Family (Royal Antiques, Keil Antiques, and Moss Antiques). The current owners of Moss antiques are Andrée, Keil, and Peter Moss, who hand-select each piece sold. Some of their clients include, Joan Rivers, Oprah Winfrey, and Nicholas Cage. Organizations the store is associated with include American Society of Appraisers, Founding Msember of The New Orleans Royal Street Guild, National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors, Better Business Bureau, Chamber of Commerce, and New Orleans Museum of Art.

Run by husband-and-wife duo Michael and Basi Carbine for twenty years, Mac Maison LTD. carries carries 18th and 19th century pieces that typically are chandeliers, lighting, sconces, furnishings, and architectural pieces. The architectural pieces are often from Italy and France. The couple consistently makes several trips to Europe to find and bring back rare antiques for their shop. Shipping is available.

French Antique Shop
The French Antique Shop is a four-generation, family-owned and operated business. Marie and Marcel Granet opened their first shop in Paris, where they married in 1927. They then moved to the United States and visited New Orleans in 1939, when they decided to establish French Antique Shop in The Big Easy. The store was originally on Chartres Street but was moved to 225 Royal Street in 1947, and sells everything from chandeliers, lighting fixtures, marble mantels, dining room tables and chairs, gold leaf mirrors, Bronze statues and Continental and Oriental porcelains. The Antique Shop import antiques from all over Europe.
