Pat O’Brien’s is a “must-visit” when visiting the French Quarter. Though it’s widely considered a New Orleans tourist trap, this bar invented the famous Hurricane cocktail in the 1940’s for sailors and to this day maintains the kitschy charm that originally put it on the map. Grab a Hurricane from the bar on your way in and take a seat in the courtyard or in the piano bar! HNOLA Tip: If you are a group of 6 or more, order the giant Hurricane. It’s worth the experience!
