One of the oldest bars around, Lafitte’s Blacksmith Shop and Bar has been serving beer and the always popular “purple drink” for as long as anyone can remember. The original owner, Jean Lafitte, was born in the 1770’s and is known for being a spy, a hero at the Battle of New Orleans, and a privateer – to name a few. Oh, and did we mention it’s haunted?
